I feel like my life is being encompassed in reading/listening to music. Even if it is through just one working headphone. When I think about all of the books I haven't read and music that I haven't listened to, I get even more excited about the creative work waiting to be had.

Even movies too, I desperately want to watch revolutionary road, the reader, milk, AND gran torino. It's just too damn expensive so I'll have to wait until they go to the dollar theatre, where all the shifty old men go.

I can't wait to go home and get not only good food but relatively new albums from coconut records, andrew bird, beirut, jenny lewis and a shit-ton more.

The to-read list is unending, so we won't even get into that. I am pretty confident that I am going to switch my major. I never considered having a career involving books before this and I realized that I really could give a shit if I make a lot of money. As long I am payed enough and can read for a living, than I will be one lucky ass bitch. Although I do have varying thoughts about the rest of my life from day to day, I really doubt I could even stay afloat in my current major. It's simple when I think about it, I don't consider the homework for my literature class homework, I enjoy it.

wow I haven't written in this thing in a while.

my summer so far has been composed of crafting pointless things like hot glue gunning a huge bowl made of magazines and sewing a pillow-sized tote. I really don't understand why I love it so much, it always ends up hurting my back from hunching over and hurting my fingers for using and exacto knife/needle for hours.

Also I have been spending a lot of time reading and I have learned many things.
1.I figured out I am madly in love with a vampire named Edward.
2.not to buy a ghost off the internet, it's a recipe for disaster.
3.many ways to tell a colleague she smells including:
-the occasional comment to the room in general "what is that curious scent, ladies?"
-drag her outside, take the fire extinguisher off the wall, and hose her down. Even if it doesn't work you'll feel better.
4.sheep enjoy mysteries just as much as humans do.

I have been playing a lot of mario brothers which has proved to me just how pathetic I am. I can't even get come close to beating a game that is a good 10 years old. but hey, at least I'm way better than laura.

I was reunited with songs I loved in like the tenth grade including Seein Red - Unwritten Law and Too Close - Next.

And finally I have been working at the restaurant which has proved to me that old people really are the worst people there are, who find their greatest pleasure in initiating conflict.

And today was great because I got a $10 gift card to target.

I'm giving you everything all that joy can bring this I swear
Last time that we had this conversation I decided we should be friends
Yeah,
but now we're going round in circles, tell me will this deja vu never end?

Oh

Now you tell me that you've fallen in love,
well I never ever thought that would be
This time you gotta take it easy throwing far too much emotions at me
But any fool can see they're falling, I gotta make you understand

I'm giving you everything all that joy can bring this I swear
(I give you everything)
And all that I want from you is a promise you will be there
Say you will be there
(Say you will be there)

Won't you sing it with me
If you, put two and two together you will see what our
friendship is for

(Oh)
If you can't work this equation then I guess I'll have to show
you the door
There is no need to say you love me,
It would be better left unsaid
